Jawaballs Live!

'Ard Boys 2010

Well, for my first 'Ard Boys, I pulled off last place. The only game where I got a battle point was the first one, Objectives. I held one with a small 5 man squad of assault marines and the ork player held two with his horde of orks... too many orks and not enough templates. The second game was kill points and I had to deal with a leaf blower. I managed to drop pod in both of my Librarian Dreadnoughts and fire off blood lance successfully hitting 3 vehicles. The first one exploded! But all the other blood lance's I rolled 1's and 2's on. And the army I was playing didn't have much for anti tank except those two dreadnoughts and they whiffed their cover saves and got blown up before they could do anything else. Then I got massacred. My last game was against another guard army, but yet again, the curse of 1's and 2's prevailed and my time constraints forced me to throw the game.

Now I'm not saying that it was a waste of a day. I learned from my face getting blown up. I've rebuilt my army list and just have to get the models to field this new army. Hopefully when the next 2500 pt tournament rolls around I can actually roll something other than 1's and 2's.
